What's New?
Hi Everyone,
Somehow 2 months have gone by since my last Blog post, time is flying - is that happening for you too?
No matter how busy I am though, I always seem to find the time to create new products.
It's an adventure and a challenge for me that I love: doing the research, playing with different ingredients and creating something that is really effective.
Apart from all the ideas running around in my head, people keep asking me for different things when I'm at markets.
So I thought I would start a regular What's New? post to keep you updated.
Here we go:
We've been testing these at the markets we vend at and they've been selling really quickly. These are one of the products that people can actually try at markets and once they do, well. ... they buy them.
You can see all the details on these by clicking on the pic below.
Body Oils are not to be confused with Massage Oils.
What is the difference between massage oil and body oil?
Massage oils and body oils can differ greatly in many ways including scent, consistencies, and ingredients.
A massage oil is typically heavier in consistency, and allows the masseuse's hands to glide over the skin easily giving the masseuse time to reach superficial and deep layers.
A body oil is a lightweight oil that is quickly absorbed into the skin. The main goal of body oil is to hydrate, nourish, and protect your skin.
Here's just a couple of our new Organic Lip Balms.
I've tried the tubes that are made out of paper board and they just end up a mess. Which means going back to the plastic tubes that everyone uses. But we've tried, the tubes we use now are BPA free.

Did you know that you only have 4 layers of skin on your lips but 7 layers on your body, so take care of your lips.
This is especially relevant if you plan on using a Lip Scrub (CLICK HERE, we have a great one).
You shouldn't use it more than once a week and you will probably find that you don't need to use it every week.
I was skeptical at first, until I tried it myself. It really does make a difference.
I love making cube soaps, they just look so minimally elegant, IMO.
Here's the latest one, the Seaside Cotton Cube Soap, it smells wonderfully clean with fresh ozony marine notes which blend nicely with romantic base notes of sheer musk and amber.
This Foot Balm is a thick salve type balm to nourish the skin on your feet. Made with all natural organic ingredients.
Your feet will love it.
At markets, more than anything else I am asked for Shampoo Bars, and finally, I now have a good stock of them.
The difference with our shampoo bars is that they don't have those noodly things in them, because our Shampoo Bars are 100% detergent free, made with carefully selected oils to nourish your scalp and hair.
BUT ... for these to give you your best soft silky shiny hair, you do have to use an Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) and water rinse (think of it as conditioner) to restore the pH balance of your hair.
And that's why there is no added fragrance in these shampoo bars because it would be a waste of product/money as the ACV rinse removes any scent.
Don't worry though, the ACV smell disappears when your hair is dry.

Well folks, that's all for now.
Stay tuned for the next What's New post.
Cheers,
Trish
