After the Heat

Hi Everyone,

I know it's been a while since my last Blog and I just have to admit that I am not a disciplined person so keeping to a regular schedule doesn't seem to work for me.

As a result I think I can be categorized as an 'occasional Blogger', which, if you don't like being inundated with emails, is a good thing ... ?

Here in New Mexico, it's like someone just turned the switch to Fall and overnight the temps have dropped. Thank goodness!. I'm sick of sweating out there with all the outdoor markets I do. It's also extra nice to be able to get cozy in bed. Last night I actually turned off the ceiling fan and even considered pulling some covers out of the linen cupboard, but it was the middle of the night and I managed to survive without them. But I did pull them out this morning to have them on hand for tonight.

One thing that this extreme summer that we've all just been through has provided is the opportunity for myself and many new customers to road test our new deodorants in extreme conditions and I'm excited to say that from the feedback I've received and the repeat purchases they have been a success.

Little video of our back table at the Rail Yards Market in Albuquerque.

I spend my weekends lugging heavy boxes of all my products into my car, then out of my car at the market, then back into my car and then out of my car when I get back home.

That's a lot of lugging and a lot of sweating!! [Definition of lugging: carry or drag (a heavy or bulky object) with great effort}

My deodorant holds up for at least 24 hours even on market days without needing any re-application.

I mention re-application because one lady who recently bought my deodorant showed me the natural deodorant that she carried around in her purse cause she had to re-apply it every few hours. No need for that with our deodorants.

I've been trying to find a natural deodorant for years and years, whether it be me experimenting with making it myself or buying it from somewhere else. I have bought so many that fail, or that are not quite as natural as I would like.

Applying toxic ingredients to your arm pits is awfully close to your lymph nodes and boobs, its like a direct route to them.

I don't like that thought.

I also found that the natural deodorants that did work for some length of time I had to stop wearing after only a day or a few days because they contained Baking Soda and my skin would react to that as if it were burned. It was painful and took a while to heal as well.

Our deodorants have no aluminum, no parabens and NO BAKING SODA.

They still work extremely well for a long period of time.

There is one thing you must be aware of before you try a natural deodorant (from anywhere).

Deodorant means it takes away the odor. It is NOT an anti-perspirant.

That means that you will still sweat and you should consider what you wear.

I find that wearing patterns solves that problem. Solid colors tend to show a wet patch when you do sweat.

The thing is that our bodies were designed to sweat for a reason.

The reason that I wanted to talk to you about our natural deodorant at this time, Fall, is that if you have been hesitant about trying a natural deodorant through the hottest months, then now when the temps are cooler is the perfect time to try one out.

Whenever I tested a new natural deodorant, even when I first started testing the ones I made myself, I would always carry a Dove commercial deodorant in my purse, just in case. Now I don't need to.

To help you with that decision, we are offering those of you who read this far down, a 25% discount on all our deodorants until the end of this month, September 2023. Just use this code at checkout NATDEO25

We offer a range of fragrances too, just head on over to our DEODORANT aisle to check them all out and read up on the ingredients.
