Red Chile Wine VEGAN Bar Soap | 3.5 oz
On a recent trip to Ruidoso I bought a bottle of Hatch Red Chile wine just because I thought it would be cool to make a soap with it.
So this is very much a LIMITED EDITION.
As I'm still on a learning curve about New Mexico traditions, I didn't even realize at the time that Chiles are used as and synonymous with Christmas decorations.
They are hung up outside to bring good health and good luck (and to dry out for future cooking). Ristras just look so festive.
After spending a season at the Los Ranchos Art Market right next to The Chile guy, I love the aroma of roasting chiles. But I just didn't think that would be very appealing as a fragrance to bathe in.
Instead I chose Peppered Orange Caramel which smells delicious. Peppered caramel and tangerine zest is folded into sweet cream and molasses.
