Using beer in soap creates the most amazing lather and using beer from a local brewery is always fun (cause you have to go there to get it).
In this case the beer was brewed by the Santa Fe Brewing Co and this particular beer is called Adobe Igloo, which I thought was appropo seeing ‘adobe’ is prevalent in New Mexico.
In case you were wondering, the powder on top of these bars is ground up hops, for added authenticity.
This is an elegant masculine soap, and a big one at that coming in at 5+ ounces and so good for his skin, he will love you for it.
An elegant, rich, sporty scent with notes of sandalwood, Florentine iris, herbaceous clover, French verbena, violet leaves and ambergris.

Due to the glycerin naturally produced in soap, it draws moisture to itself, AKA it is a humectant. This means making sure that it has the chance to dry out when not in use. Please do not leave it sitting in a puddle of water when you have finished your bath or shower.
To get that extra mile, I have found that rubbing the soap onto a wash cloth makes it last a lot longer, which took a bit of training as I used to lather the soap directly on my skin.
Ever wondered why mass-produced soaps don’t have this problem?
Typically, the manufacturer will remove the glycerin and/or add synthetic chemicals to prevent the soap being so easily dissolvable in water.
